male dancer needed for dance performance project

 
Launch Movement Experiment, a Brooklyn-based dance company co-directed by Liz Riga and Rachel Mckinstry, is currently seeking a male dancer for a position with the company.  The company will be premiering an evening length work in September 2011 in Brooklyn.  Applicants should be technically skilled, have a unique personal style, and be comfortable improvising in solo and group forms.  The rehearsal environment is personal and highly imaginative.  

Rehearsals begin mid-May.  Paid performance.

Please come prepared to show a short movement idea (2-3 minutes) that best represents you as an artist.  We will also ask you to improvise in solo and group forms.
