Mosaic Dance Theater Company, a professional organization, seeks experienced dancers for the Company as follows: A: dancers with strong Middle Eastern dance technique, including oriental and folkloric styles. Additional dance training in ballet, jazz, modern, and theatrical experience with strong character work is desirable. B: dancers with strong technique in other forms, willing to train to reach performance level in North African and Middle Eastern dance. C: Serious dancers at advanced beginner/intermediate level considered for apprentice positions with opportunity for stage experience with Company. No divas! We are an ensemble company looking for those of like spirit, able to learn and retain new and existing choreographies from the repertory. Ongoing rehearsals in NYC (Times Square area) Mondays 5-10 PM and Wednesdays 8-10 PM. Weekly class in NYC with Choreographer/Artistic Director is required.
