Costume Designer Needed!

 

With it’s 6th season approaching, Amalgamate Dance Company is looking for eager and talented costume designers to help with their vision for their upcoming pieces. The company is performing at multiple venues this year and we need someone who can help bring our vision to life.


Under the Artistic Direction of Alana Marie Urda, Amalgamate Dance Company has been educating, entertaining and inspiring audiences worldwide for over 6 years! Through our Charity Project Initiative ADC customizes captivating and affecting choreography for clients, fundraisers, galas, educational events, workshops, commemorations, conferences, and more. We fully produce over 10 renown events in New York City each year and provide job opportunities for a handful of artists each season. Other important details the costume designer should know:

The piece is inspired by the topic of Aphasia.The performances will be held on the Upper West Side from April 13-15. Costumes would be ready by April 1st. The work has 6 dancers total; 4 women and 2 men. Small stipend or barter. We will purchase all fabric.

The costumes are not envisioned yet but we would like a collaborative effort involving the designer to come watch a rehearsal.
