On Thursday, June 7th, Helen Pickett will be offering a one-day intensive based upon the work of William Forsythe.
The intensive is held at City Center Studios and begins at 10AM.
In this workshop you will learn the basic foundation of the Forsythe technique. The class will incorporate the fundamental warm-up, intrinsic to understanding the technique, and then move onto basic modalities. This particular improvisational technique enables each person to access movement, in part, by interpreting their body in space – a different version of space! All dimensions of your body will be challenged.
