Notes in Motion Outreach Dance Theatre is seeking experienced Dance and Yoga Teaching Artists to join our Education Ensemble bringing dance and yoga programs to young people throughout NYC.

Audition Date - Tuesday, October 2, 2012 9:30 a.m.

Qualified Candidates MUST have the following:
(1) Experience teaching dance and yoga to young people IN-SCHOOL settings, preferably in NYC Public Schools.
(2) Advanced degrees in dance, dance education, theatre, and/or certifications in yoga (as appropriate based on your teaching expertise).
(3) Ability to develop original lesson plans, collaborate with classroom teachers and Notes in Motion administration to create innovative and engaging dance and/or yoga lessons for children from Pre K- 12th grade.
(4) Availability to attend a Professional Development Training Session on Sunday October 28th.
(5) Classroom management finesse, strength, creativity, and acumen.
