Callfor submissions for emerging choreographers showcase Feb 22nd and 23rd2013!
Have you been searching for ways to create community with other new dance makers? Are you looking foropportunitiesto start dialogues through dance? Fresh Peach Dance andAmandaHameline are searching for choreographers who have worked professionally forfewer than five yearsand make dance that engages critically with social issues, merging the political and the personal.

About the showcase: the loose theme of the show is relationships- friendships, loves, the relationship between our bodies and our identities, between our personal stories and our artmaking. The show will be followed by a DJed dance party each night, so we can be merry and work it out. The show is located on Fourth Arts Block in the East Village at Wow Cafe Theater (59-61 East 4th StreetNew York, NY 10003), February 22nd and 23rd at 8 pm.

Who we are: AmandaHameline and Julia Havard worked together throughout college and after moving to New York felt an urgent need for opportunities that provide a creative and passionate community with support for process for dance makers. Early February all of the choreographers and dancers will come together, show our pieces, and use the Critical Response Process (Liz Lerman's Dance Exchange) to engage critically with the new work.
