Deadline Extended: Your Move Dance Festival

DEADLINE EXTENDED:
Your Move welcomes a wide range of movement performance including modern and post-modern dance, physical theater, dance-theater, improvisational performance, dance films, and more. Choreographers are invited to submit one movement-based piece (no more than 13 minutes in length) for consideration. The entry piece can either be an existing dance, or a proposal for new work. If the latter, a written proposal plus two other existing work samples must be included.
Applications are due June 24, 2013 at midnight. Accepted choreographers will be notified by mid-July. Performances are November 7-10, 2013, with each choreographer/company given two performance slots over the four-day period. The venue is Art House Productions in Jersey City (easily accessible from NYC's PATH train). Choreographers are given their performance slots upon acceptance. Tech times are in the evenings Monday – Wednesday, November 4-6th, and Thursday November 7th during the day. Tech times need to be confirmed by you in order to complete your acceptance.
