Sydnie L. Mosley Dances seeks Arts Administration Intern, Spring 2014
Artistic Director Sydnie L. Mosley seeks highly motivated interns interested in arts administration. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for students or recent college graduates to participate in building an arts organization from the ground up. Duties will include assistance in grant research/writing, event planning, fund raising, marketing/pr and managing of company rehearsals and performances, among other administrative tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Successful candidate(s) should also be detail oriented, organized, take initiative, work well independently, and have a positive demeanor. Interest and knowledge of New York City modern dance scene are a plus.
Internship is unpaid, but students may receive college credit. Hours are flexible (10-20/week). Interns should expect to work closely with Artistic Director.
