The Valentina Kozlova International Contemporary Dance and Choreography Competition (first edition) is open to all ages in the categories of Solos, Duets, Groups/Ensembles and Choreography.

 

It is a wonderful opportunity for dancers to perform and/or present their work along with other dancers and choreographers from around the world before a distinguished panel of judges.  Judges for the panel include:  Andris Liepa, Tracy Inman, Nina Buisson, Virginie Victoire Mécène, Igal Perry, Patricia Aulestia  (de Alba), Jelco Yuresha, Jeon Mi Sook, Charles Askegard, Wendy Perron, Margo Sappington, Risa Steinberg and Septime Webre.

 

Selected competitors will be invited to perform/present pieces at the evening gala on April 29, 2014 following the award ceremony where prizes will include such opportunities as scholarships, workshops and the commission for a new work in Argentina.
