THE KING & I AT ZACH THEATRE (AUSTIN, TX)

 

ZACH Theatre in Austin, TX announces it's dance call for Rodgers & Hammerstein's "The King & I".

Dance call will be Thursday, June 26th from 10:15am - 2:00pm.

Seeking Adult Asian American dancers who sing or singers who dance to play priests, guards, members of the king's court and be featured as dancers in the production's many movement sequences. Trained ballet dancers need not have singing experience to be considered.

ONLY SEEKING ASIAN AMERICAN APPLICANTS.

This is a non-union position.

Dancers who are hired would be provided with housing and transportation.

 

Audition will be held at Ripley Grier Studios at 520 Eighth Avenue between 36th and 37th streets. Studio 17A&B.
