Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre/Sean McLeod Dance Experience seeks additional male and female dancers for company and corporate positions, including our upcoming Central New York Season, NYC dates, and possible national and international opportunities.  If you are a dancer who has additional corporate skills and business aspirations, we want you present!  KDT/SMDEx offers a new kind of dance company experience, one that aims to develop your business, interpersonal and teaching skill-sets, as well as honor and increase your world-class dance pedigree.  Following the hugely successful New York Dance Festival: Spring Workshops, and the wonderful new relationships formed during the KDT/SMDEx Auditions in June, we are looking to fill additional dance contracts and identify additional dance intellects.  Company members will have paid performances, as well as opportunities for other national and international revenue-making engagements, and teaching opportunities pending certification in one or more McLeod Technique forms.  

A strong background in classic and contemporary modern and ballet is recommended but not required.  If your heart is in the right place, we'll work to give you the rest.  Dancers focused on a world class physique wrapped in only the best personality traits should apply! You must be a nice person.  If you are looking for an innovative experience in dance, one that seeds the growth of Personality and Emotional Development in its work, a process that requires you to want to be a happier person sharing a happy life, and if you are willing to take risks, embrace "Yes", and learn why this is essential, then Sean would love to see you!  We will establish long-term working relationships with strong people who exhibit these qualities to the fullest extent!

Dance with Us: We are thrilled to offer two exciting Pre-Audition Workshop sessions as part of the New York Dance Festival: Fall Workshops NYC with the legendary Sean McLeod, world renowned International Producer, American Choreographer, and businessman.  Come and join us for a weekend full of Life Changing Master Classes and personal interaction led by Sean and his amazing team, the Certified Personalities of McLeod Technique.  Hosted by the New York Institute of Dance and Education - N.Y.I.D.E., Sean McLeod Dance Experience, Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre, and our partners, this two-day dance experience will include classes in Sean McLeod's codified McLeod Technique (MT) including MT Modern, Reinforced Motor Function ® (alignment, strength, and flexibility system), and MT Afro Hip Hop. Topped off with our famed self-reflective and life fueling "Talk Around" sessions.  All of that wrapped in Motivation that will inspire you to action.  Come join us for this truly spectacular and giving event, so we can get to know each other for upcoming work opportunities!  Workshop participation is not required for contract consideration.  However, we guarantee you won't be sorry you took the extra time to work with us!  It is our mission to make this an enjoyable and powerful learning and growing experience for all involved.  Don't miss out!
