Registration Deadline:  Saturday, May 30, 2015 by 5:00PM

BalaSole Dance Company is offering emerging and re-emerging dance artists a chance to perform in the company's opening and closing pieces in July 2015 at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater.  Selection for this performance opportunity requires participation in BalaSole's Emerging & Re-Emerging Artist Dance Workshop on May 31, 2015 from 5:00-7:00PM at New York Live Arts (NYC).

During the workshop, which includes the company's trademark collaborative choreography element, up to six (6) participants will be selected to perform in the company's July 17 & 18, 2015 5th Year Anniversary Concert.  The goal of this program is to provide emerging and re-emerging artists a unique contemporary dance training, a collaborative experience, networking opportunities, and a chance to perform and get visibility in a prominent NYC venue.

For artists selected from the workshop to perform with the company in July 2015, please note that this is a non-paid performance opportunity.  This project requires 7 consecutive days of commitment for rehearsals and performances.  Due to the short duration of this project and the availability of space,  the rehearsal dates and times are not negotiable.  See rehearsal and performance schedule below.  Transportation will be provided from Manhattan to the Bronx.
