AGES 12-14: 4:30-6:00pm (Registration: 4:00pm)
AGES 15-19: 6:00-7:30pm (Registration: 5:30pm)

Sunday, August 9
AGES 12-14: 5:00-6:30pm (Registration: 4:30pm)
AGES 15-19: 6:30-8:00pm (Registration: 6:00pm)

Requirements
Applicants should have a strong classical foundation in relation to their age and demonstrate the physical, mental, and emotional aptitude necessary for serious classical ballet training.

Please provide two recent photos:
-1st arabesque 
-tendu a la seconde
Photographs will not be returned.

Audition Attire
Girls
Black leotard, pink tights and ballet slippers. 
Bring pointe shoes as audition will conclude with pointe class.

Boys
White t-shirts and full-length black tights.
Boys may wear white shoes with white socks or black shoes.

International Visa Program available.
Student Housing available.

Video/DVD/YouTube Auditions:
If you are unable to attend the audition dates and would like to request an audition appointment or submit an audition via video/DVD or YouTube link, please write us at info@ellisonballet.org or call us at 646.385.8485
Please register online before sending us your video audition -- Unregistered candidates will not be considered for Ellison Ballet programs.

Video/DVD submissions should be approximately 15-20 minutes in length and demonstrate barre and center exercises, including adagio, tendus, pirouettes, grand pirouettes, petit, medium, and grand allegro, tours en l'air for men, fouettes and pointe work for ladies. You may also include a classical ballet variation if desired. At the beginning of the video, you should introduce yourself and state your age, the number of year(s) of ballet/dance study, the number of years of pointe work (if applicable), the name(s) of your current school and teacher(s), and any previous summer intensive programs, festivals and/or international ballet competitions in which you have participated.
