MoveWorks is seeking a Production intern to assist with its production of ReArrange: A Dance Installation and Performance on Governors Island. The Production Intern will be responsible for behind the scenes technical assistance such as assisting with props, costumes, and other technical needs prior to and during the event and also for “front of house” audience engagement during the performances, i.e. acting as host and doorperson to the event.

Ideals candidates have a “can-do” attitude, a serious funny bone, and a love for theater/dance.  ReArrange is a fun, collaborative event for all involved and this person will be a huge part of the team!  Previous performance and production experience a plus.

Production Interns must be available for performance dates on Governors Island: August 8/9, 15/16, 22/23, 12 - 5pm as well as rehearsal dates in late July, exact details tbd. Interns will receive a small stipend and lots of hugs.
