Amalgamate’s Guest Artist Showcase (GAS) is produced to highlight NYC-based emerging and professional dancers, and provides them a unique environment to network, hone their craft, and possibly gain employment. Dancers work closely with one of three exquisite contemporary choreographers to create a brand new work in minimal rehearsal time. The program culminates in an open performance and reception that welcomes a panel of distinguished dance professionals to view the dancers’ accomplishments, provide feedback, and potentially offer employment!
