Production Intern - American Realness

Production Intern - American Realness

AMERICAN REALNESS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
American Realness is an annual festival of new dance and contemporary performance produced and curated by Ben Pryor / tbspMGMT at the Abrons Art Center. Now in its seventh year, American Realness occupies all three of the performance spaces, as well as gallery space, at Abrons Arts Center over 11 days of performances. Artists from past festivals include Miguel Gutierrez, Big Art Group, Trajal Harrell, Faye Driscoll and John Jasperse.

The American Realness internship is designed for students and recent graduates looking to get hands-on production experience in a fast-paced festival setting. We are open to any availability between January 2, 2015 and January 17, 2015. Internship credit is available.

All interns have the chance to participate in structured dialogues with industry professionals. Interns have regular check-in sessions with their supervisors and receive feedback throughout the festival. Interns are encouraged to see dress rehearsals and performances of all festival productions.

To apply, please contact External Relations Manager Erik Rogers at edr287@nyu.edu with a resume or brief letter including information about your past experience, any specific areas of interest, and anticipated availability.
