Detroit Dance City Festival 2016

ARTLAB J is pleased to present the 4th Annual Detroit Dance City Festival(DDCF) in downtown Detroit. 

The three-day community building event celebrates dance in its various forms and disciplines with workshops, performances and networking opportunities held at various locations throughout the city August 25th, 26th and August 27th, 2016. The mission of DDCF is to educate audiences about the impact of dance, provide opportunities for artists to share their work, and create artistic networks between Michigan, the United States and the world.

ARTLAB J in partnership with Marcus White/White Werx, will curate a Dance Film Fest within the DDCF. The Dance Film Fest will feature works by choreographers and filmmakers who are interested in working at the intersection of film and movement.Selected films will be shown August 25th-26th at 6:00pm at the YMCA Boll Theatre.
