Fellowships at The Bogliasco Foundation

Bogliasco, Italy

Located on the Italian Riviera in the village of Bogliasco, The Bogliasco Foundation's Study Center provides one-month residential fellowships to gifted individuals working in all the disciplines of the Arts (including Dance) and Humanities without regard to nationality, age, race, religion or gender.

The Foundation only accepts online applications.  To be eligible for the award of a Fellowship, applicants should demonstrate significant achievement in their disciplines, commensurate with their age and experience. Please note that Bogliasco Fellowships are not awarded to students currently in a degree-granting program. The Foundation gives preference to those whose applications suggest that they would be comfortable working in an intimate, international, multilingual community of scholars and artists.

During their stay at the Center, Bogliasco Fellows are assigned separate private studios. The 400 square foot dance studio features a sprung floor with Marley, a sound system, a small work station and optional 10 x 7 foot high mirrors.

Residencies are scheduled during the two semesters of the traditional academic year: Fall-Winter (September to December) and Winter-Spring (January to May). Deadlines for the submission of applications are as follows: January 15th for fall semester residencies beginning in September of the same year, and April 15th for spring semester residencies beginning in January of the following year.

For complete program information and application procedures, please visit the Bogliasco Foundation’s website at www.bfny.org.
