konverjdans is a New York City-based contemporary ballet company founded in 2016 by artistic directors Tiffany Mangulabnan, Jordan Miller and Amy Saunder. Learn more at konverjdans.com 

We are seeking to hire a male dancer to join us for our 2018 Spring Season, and to be available (partially or fully) for the following periods of creation, choreography, and performance:

March 12–April 11: Rehearsals in NYC (approx. four weeks, 4-6 hrs per week, schedule TBD)
April 12–15*: Dress Rehearsal & Performances in NYC
April 23–May 11: Rehearsals in NYC  (approx. three weeks, 4-6 hrs per week, schedule TBD)
May 14–18*: Choreographic Residency in Pennsylvania (one hour from NYC; all food, lodging & transportation provided)
May 21–25: Final Rehearsals & Performance in NYC (schedule TBD)

We will be creating two new pieces -- one to be created and performed in NYC in March/April; the other to be choreographed by Ballet X dancer and freelance choreographer Caili Quan during the Pennsylvania residency -- and expanding another piece that's already in our repertoire. We plan to show all three of these pieces at our final performance at the end of May.

We compensate hourly for rehearsals, and pay a separate fee for performances and a flat fee for the residency.
