BalaSole Dance Company is currently seeking high-calibered male and female solo dance artists (of all shapes, sizes, ages, ethnicities, styles and backgrounds) to perform their own self-choreographed 3-4 minute solo pieces, as well as ensemble pieces, for its 2018 New York City Season Concert (Aug. 17 & 18) at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater. An advanced proficiency in either modern, contemporary, jazz, or ballet is required.

BalaSole Dance Company is especially looking for uplifting and unique solos/pieces for its concert seasons.

The first part of the audition will involve learning a short group combination. The second part will involve presentations of self-choreographed solo pieces (3-4 minutes maximum) to be performed in the August 2018 Concert. Please bring your costume and do not attend the above audition if your solo is unfinished. During the audition, emphasis will be given to artistry.
