Mabou Mines 2019 Resident Artist Program

Submissions for the 2019 Resident Artist Program are open now through October 8, 2018 at 11:59pm.

Mabou Mines Resident Artist Program is open to emerging individual artists and small companies of all disciplines – playwrights, directors, performers, poets, dancers, dramaturges, composers, musicians, choreographers, film, video and digital artists – anyone with a compelling performance idea. You must be a resident of New York City to apply. Current students are not eligible.

Resident artists receive mentoring from our Artistic Directors and Associates, a stipend, rehearsal/performance space, and administrative assistance. Participants attend monthly meetings, creating an artistic community through shared ideas in a forum-like setting.

The 6-month residency runs January to June, 2019, culminating in free public work-in-progress showings on June 17-23, 2019. For more information on the program, visit our website and apply online at www.maboumines.org/resident-artist-program/
