Dancewave is a dance education nonprofit that focuses on the development of the whole person through a dance experience accessible to all. Our unique model combines rigorous training with artistic integrity in a supportive and nurturing environment. We believe that dance provides a forum for meaningful, positive exchange between kids of all backgrounds and cultures, and our programs address young people's needs for individual achievement and group identity. 

We are seeking teaching artists for Fall 2019/Spring 2020 terms in the following genres: Creative Ballet/Modern (Ages 2-6), Ballet (Ages 6-18), Modern (Ages 6-13).

Dancewave is seeking a teaching artist with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience working with youth. We are looking for individuals who construct a well rounded class including technique, individual growth and choreography.  Individuals must also have excellent classrom management skills, while engaging our students in a very nurturing and fun manner.
