NW DANCE PROJECT - 5 DANCE DAYS - Early Registration Discount before DEC 1 / 2019

NW Dance Project 5 Dance Days

5 DANCE DAYS with NW DANCE PROJECT
DEC 31 to JAN 4 / 2020
10:00am to 5:00pm

Immerse yourself in professional technique classes and experience the creative process, repertoire, improvisation, and movement styles that are necessary tools for every professional dancer. Dancers will work with our founding Artistic Director Sarah Slipper and NW DANCE PROJECT’s extraordinary, award-winning company members as they are mentored to push and develop their creativity, ideas and versatility.

Today's professional dancers are asked to improvise, reinvent steps, switch-up phrases, change musicality and make impulsive and artistic choices. Technique alone is not enough - dancers must also now be creators.

This intensive, hands-on week will provide dancers with the insights, improvisational skills and creative tools that are needed by the most sought after companies and choreographers today.

NW DANCE PROJECT is committed to offering a supportive and encouraging environment so that each dancer can develop and discover their unique creative voice. Each day will start with ballet class, followed by a contemporary technique class, following the lunch break, dancers will participate in repertoire, improvisation and choreographic development sessions.
