Groove With Me is a nonprofit that utilizes FREE after-school and summer dance classes to promote and encourage positive youth development among girls, ages 4-18, residing in East Harlem and the South Bronx. We serve between 200-250 girls per year and offer 42 classes each year.

We do all of this through the efforts of over 40 volunteer teachers who give of themselves for the benefit and enrichment of our girls. Hopefully, we can add you (and maybe some of your friends) to that list!!

How you can get involved:

Volunteer Teacher - Teaching at GWM requires a full-year commitment (September - June). During the course of the year, you prepare your students for Parent Observation and Participation (POP) Week in December and the End of Year Recital in June. There are also opportunities to perform at community events. We welcome all styles of dance!
