Nuevo Tango Ballet AUDITIONS

Leonardo Suarez Paz’s PIAZZOLLA 100 is an interdisciplinary performing arts project which includes Nuevo Tango Ballet, a group that combines contemporary, ballet, jazz, and tango technique. We are hiring dancers for upcoming performances in NYC and abroad. Looking for female dancers with contemporary and classical ballet backgrounds. Must be 18 years old and up. Preferred height: 5 feet 2 inches - 5 feet 5 inches. We encourage immigrants and dancers who are mothers to apply. Tango experience and any work in high heels are not necessary but a plus. We are looking for artistic, committed individuals who wish to expand their dance vocabulary and form a part of this international project on a regular basis.

Dancers will have priority consideration for 2022-23 season. Compensation meets industry standards and is based on role & number of rehearsals. Dancers are compensated as independent contractors. 

Rehearsal style auditions: Wednesday, September 8th, 11-1 pm. We want to meet you and move with you!

Location: Manhattan Location is confirmed once your google form is submitted and processed. We highly recommed you fill out the form as soon as possible if you are interested.

Rehearsals: September 8th - October 16 // Show: October 17 in NYC.
Availability for these performance dates is recommended for those who adudition - November 21-30, December 11-12, with rehearsals 1.5 weeks prior.
