Now through August 20, The Wallace Foundation is seeking expressions of interest from eligible organizations via an open call for its new five-year, $53 million initiative focused on arts organizations of color and the link between community orientation, and relevance and resilience. In tandem with the open call, Wallace is seeking researchers interested in responding to a request for proposals for the first of several research projects that will be part of the initiative. The deadline for letters of intent from researchers is also August 20, 2021.

The initial cohort of organizations selected as grantees will receive five years of funding to develop and pursue individual projects, using community-oriented approaches to address strategic challenges. Grantees will also be part of a peer learning community and participate in research studies to advance knowledge in the field.
