The OPEN DANCE ENSEMBLE will be adding new members for our upcoming performances. We are interested in dancers with improv and choreographic experience, but will also consider candidates with contact and acro training.  

Our ensemble: a volunteer organization, specializes in self-conducted improvised dance, and works closely as a collaborative in both planning and execution, often with rotating choreographers among the membership. We have presented  more than a dozen new works in New York City and nearby. and recently performed at Dance Astoria, Spoke the Hub and will perform in November at Greenspace Studio. We have another show scheduled for December and are planing for additional performance opportunities. We rehearse regularly in Soho on Tuesdays, 7-9 PM. We are offering a new audition opportunity on Tuesday, November 16, at 7 PM.
