FrediDance Project BELIEVE 2022 3-week Summer Intensive Program

 


FrediDance Project BELIEVE summer program is excited to launch its three week 2022 intensive is back yet again! Our summer intensive ages 12 and up is a program in the style of big company dance intensive meant to find and develop the strength of each dancer. The program is designed for intermediate and advanced students who are committed to enhancing their dance training On a preprofessional level the program provides students a chance to improve artistic development, experience a professional dance company process and acquire lifelong career, building connections, and networking skills. The qualified scholarship students in the Fredidance project intensive are taken into the company, during the summer, as trainees to work as an ensemble dancer.
Summer Intensive is FrediDance Project’s annual program designed for intermediate and advanced dancers ages 12 and up who are committed to enhancing their dance training on a pre-professional level. This rigorous three week program is committed to providing students with a chance to improve artistic development, experience a professional dance company’s creative process, build technique, acquire lifelong career building connections, networking skills, and enhance their performer. Our program will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday with housing options available for commuter students. 
We are excited to announce and welcome our world-renowned guest instructors from around the country for this year’s program. During the summer, we will be welcoming the talents of Christopher Scott Caldwell, Kassi Abreu, and Emily Ricca with Artistic Director Jerome “Nunney” Stigler and resident faculty Sara “Primary” Lieck. Our instructors will be teaching ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, conditioning and more. Each week our guests artists will be setting new choreographed pieces on the students to be performed each week of the intensive. Our final culminating performance will be at The Polk Theater July 29, giving your student the best experience possible.

 

This program and FrediDance Project offeres scholarships to those dedicated and passionate dancers. We offer 25 - 75% scholarships. Housing will be provided for the commuter students.

Video Submission: Talent Reel plus ballet, modern/Contemporary technique, can include short phrase work. nomore than 7 minuets.
