Wardrobe Supervisor for Brooklyn Nutcracker

ALDEN MOVES logo in two lines with gray print and a soft pink line in between

ALDEN MOVES Dance Theater seeks an experienced, freelance Wardrobe professional to handle costume fittings, pre-show alterations (usually light nips, tucks, and hems--not all costumes need them), repairs, steaming, general organization, and other pre-show prep for our Dec 10th Nutcracker. The Wardrobe Supervisor will be needed for the duration of the performance day, roughly 10:30am to 8:30pm, during which they will be responsible for distribustion of costumes, overseeing dressing, quick changes, and any other costume needs for the day. Fittings will be needed on Saturday Dec 3, but given the volume of costumes, we're looking for someone who can come in ahead of that as well.

The cast of 50 features professionals of our company alongside students in our school (ranging in age from 5-13) as well as some adult volunteers (many with theater experience) in roles like Rats and Party Parents. 35 cast members are kids.

Interested applicants should send resumes to info@aldenmovesbk.com, cc-ing aldenmovesbk@gmail.com by Tuesday, Nov 22.
