Reaction Dance Company NYC| New Members

Audition to be a member of Reaction Dance Company NYC, on Monday January 23 from 8:00-9:30PM. The location, which will be close to midtown in NYC, will be sent to those who receive a reply to their submission email. 

 

We are a fusion dance company with a mission to represent Diversity Through Dance.  We’ve been performing since 2015 in NYC and across the country. We’re looking for new dancers who want to be part of a company that feels like family.

Be apart of a company dedicated to showcasing Diversity Through Dance

Perform in paid school shows (assemblies) running from February-June and Sept-Dec. 

We offer paid training in our signature school show “The Globalization of Hip Hop”

We offer travel opportunities both nationally and abroad.

We’ll be training dancers to choreograph for paid wedding dance classes

We offer many other opportunities such as choreographing for studio shows, dancing in concept videos, and competing in Kpop Cover contests to name a few.

 

Who we are looking for

Dancers of ALL Genders and Backgrounds 

Proficient in Hip Hop dance

Some training in cultural dance styles or a willingness to learn cultural dances such as: Bollywood, Salsa, Reggaeton, Dancehall, Kpop ect.

Having a driver's license is a big plus but not required. 

 

Try us out before the audition

We’ll be hosting an open rehearsal on Monday January 16 from 7-8:30PM at Ripley Grier 305 West, 38th Street in studio 203. Venmo $10 to our Director @Juliette-Nieves to attend.

Send us your headshot, resume, and (if you have one ) your dance reel to reactiondance19@gmail.com.  Those who are invited to the audition will receive the location of the audition and what styles will be taught at the audition.
