New Members: Reaction Dance Company NYC

Audition to be a member of Reaction Dance Company NYC, on Tuesday October 24 from 7:00-9PM. The location, which will be close to midtown in NYC, will be sent to those who receive a reply to their submission email. 

We are a fusion dance company with a mission to represent Diversity Through Dance.  We’ve been performing since 2015 in NYC and across the country and internationally. We’re looking for new dancers who want to be part of a company that feels like family.

 

Why join Reaction?

-Be apart of a company dedicated to showcasing Diversity Through Dance

-Perform in paid school shows (assemblies) running from Dec-June 

-We offer paid training in our signature school show “The Globalization of Hip Hop” and our new show “Rhythms of America” ( Latin Dance Show)

-We offer travel opportunities both nationally and abroad.

-We offer many other opportunities such as dancing in concept videos, dancing for events like weddings, and choreographing pieces for the company.

 

Who we are looking for

-Dancers of ALL ethnic backgrounds 

 -one male identifying dancer, one female identifying dancer, non binary dancers also welcome

-Proficient in Hip Hop dance

-Some training in cultural dance styles or a willingness to learn cultural dances such as: Bollywood, Salsa, Reggaeton, Dancehall, Kpop ect.

-Having a driver's license is a big plus but not required. 

Available for Monday rehearsals either morning or night. Training will start Monday Oct 30-Dec

Send us your headshot, resume, and (if you have one ) your dance reel to reactiondance19@gmail.com.  Those who are invited to the audition will receive the location of the audition and what styles will be taught at the audition.
