Dance HUB: Barcelona is an extraordinary dance intensive program that offers a transformative and culturally-immersive experience for dancers seeking a holistic and mindful approach to creative research.

At Dance HUB: Barcelona, creative research is at the heart of the program. Dancers are given the freedom to explore their ideas, experiment with movement, and collaborate with peers to create innovative choreographic scores. Integrating a more holistic approach, the focus goes beyond mere technical training and emphasis is placed on nurturing the whole dancer—mind, body, and spirit. Participants are encouraged to delve into self-reflection, mindfulness exercises, and somatic practices to deepen their awareness of their bodies, emotions, and intentions as they dance. The holistic approach not only enhances performance skills but also promotes overall well-being and personal growth.

Situated in Barcelona, a city pulsating with artistic energy and a rich cultural tapestry, Dance HUB offers a truly immersive experience. Participants have the opportunity to interact with local artists, immerse themselves in Catalan traditions and dance styles, and draw inspiration from the city's historical landmarks and artistic ambiance.

All WADE programs embrace diversity, welcoming dancers from various backgrounds, styles, and cultures. The convergence of different dance traditions and perspectives fosters a dynamic and inclusive community, creating a space where dancers can learn from one another, share experiences, and grow together as artists.

By the end of the program, participants emerge with a profound connection to their craft and renewed inspiration infused with the vibrant spirit of Barcelona.
