Hi,

I am starting a Dance Company and I am looking for a dance company production manager to join us on the adventure. I am looking for a person who is passionate about the dance, very organized, self-starting and sees themselves as a growing producer of our company. It. would be preferable if the person already has experience producing/managing individual dancers and dance companies and has experience producing yearly program of a dance company. It would be prefrable if a person has some touring manager experience but not required.

The role of the dance company producer include: handling contracts and managing payments, scheduling rehearsals with dancers and venues, communicating with dancers about logistic part of the work including scheduling/coordinating dancers.

helping organize auditions, providing props and costumes for performances, collecting receipts and preparing them for the accountant, looking for venues to perform and booking performances, and communicating with venues that are presenting work about all technical and administrative aspects of the production. Attending meetings, gatherings and communicating with other producers and organizations to further present work of the dance company. Producer will work directly with the choreographer.

To start it would be about 10 hrs/month with possibility of increase in time as company grows.
