What is "We Move"?

Established under the direction of Drye | Marinaro Dance Company, We Move is a choreographic showcase with an opportunity to present your work, build a diverse network of artists, and expand your craft, creativity, and community. Our Mission is to offer impactful experiences for artists and viewers alike, and foster future collaborative opportunities; WE believe dance is more than just movement! It can serve as a vehicle of change for ourselves and our communities.

THEME: Holidays and Celebrations!

We Move: Cheers! -  Drye | Marinaro Dance Company welcomes artists for our end of year, community celebration! As we enter the joyous holiday season and approach the end of 2024, we are excited to bring our NYC dance community together for an evening of artistry, connection, and collaboration! Presented works should embody themes of love, life, happiness, & holiday cheer!

DATE: Saturday, December 14th at 5:00 PM EST

LOCATION: Alpha Omega Studio Theatre, 70 E 4th St, New York, NY, 10003

Your Work!

- Searching for 4-5 works to be performed alongside our company’s work.

- Choreographer/Artist must be based in NYC and surrounding areas.

- Works should be between 2-5 mins max.

- Works can be of any genre.

- Works should explore and share a strong perspective on themes of love, life, happiness, & holiday cheer, however that resonates with your artistic voice, personal stories and traditions

- Please be aware the space has minimal tech support and cannot accommodate elaborate props, sets, or lighting design.  

- Minimal dressing room space is available, and it is advised that all artists come to same-day tech and performance already in costume and makeup.

Participating Artists will receive performance video, photos, and $5 of each ticket sold under their unique artist code!
