Peridance Contemporary Dance Company SEEKING 2025 Social Media/ Marketing Intern

Peridance Contemporary Dance Company (PCDC) is looking for a New York-based social media/marketing intern that is passionate about contemporary dance and innovative marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience for working in arts administration/marketing for a non-profit organization. 

Dates: March 1st- TBD 

Hours a week: 25 (4-5 hours a day or working 2-3 full days a week) 

Activities may include: 

- Create instagram reels/ social media posts for upcoming company performances and special events 

- Build out following on social media (primarily instagram)

- Write personalized thank you letters to donors. 

- Generate initiatives that increase donor loyalty. 

- Provide accurate data collection for grant reporting and proposals. 

Qualifications:

- Enthusiasm and knowledge of the contemporary dance scene in New York. 

- Strong proficiency in Canva, InDesign and/or Adobe Premiere 

- Based in the New York City area 

- Strong interpersonal skills. The ability to come across as warm and sincere in person and online.

- Entrepreneurial, resilient, and adaptive spirit 

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to commit for at least six months.
