Performances are from mid-October through the beginning of November 2025 at La Mama.

Rehearsals start in April. Approximately 3 hours of weekday daytime rehearsals, 2 times per week. 

“Gimme Gimme Gimme”, uses theater, experimental movement and video to tell an ‘against all odds’ love story that celebrates the body - each and every body. Gimme Gimme Gimme is a raucous romp. A rebellion against the beauty industry that undermines our confidence and makes us competitive with each other.

Two roles needed:

A plus-size man and a plus-size woman, age range from 25-40 years old. This is a non-verbal role for an actor/dancer who is choreographed to dance from an inner body script rather than through a stylistic genre (i.e. hip hop, ballet, modern.) The roles include playing a contestant on a game show and dancing an intimate, sensual love duet. Rehearsals and performances will be paid.
