JCE Jazz Dance Project

A jazz dance duet with one of the dancers in a partnered jump. Jan La Salle

The JCE Jazz Dance Project will be presented on April 18-19, 2020 at the Salvatore Capezio Theater at Peridance. Please send a youtube or vimeo link of the complete work you would like us to present by Monday, January 13, 2020. The dance must be at least two minutes long and no more than eight minutes long. It must be a finished piece, not a work in progress. We seek original works of jazz--classic, early jazz (e.g., Charleston, swing), musical theater, Latin jazz, or contemporary jazz, etc., are fine. We rarely accept re-creations of another choreographer's work (e.g., Robbins, Fosse re-creations), and we can't accept tap. For more information: http://www.jazzchoreography.com/guidelines
