Call for NYC Dancers!

 

SYMPHONY FOR THE DANCE FLOOR, an acclaimed live music and dance production created by composer Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) and choreographed by Millicent Johnnie, seeks highly skilled and motivated New York City-based dancers for its upcoming tour, which includes the BAM Next Wave Festival 2011!

STYLE: Contemporary with an emphasis on Hip-Hop, House and Latin/Caribbean Social Dance

Candidates must be available for all dates listed below. NO exceptions!

AUG 29 Audition at BAM at 1pm
AUG 30 – SEP 11 Rehearsals at BAM
SEP 29 – OCT 23 Tour (Miami, NYC, Albany & Cleveland)

Additionally, candidates must…

-Have your own housing in NYC
-Be willing to share a double-room on the road
-Be completely professional, prompt and easy to work with
-Have experience working in professional live dance and/or theatrical productions
-Be a US Citizen or Visa/Greencard holder at least 18 years of age, and have a valid government-issued ID to travel
