Refine Method Seeks Fitness Instructors

 

Refine Method (refinemethod.com) is seeking passionate instructors to instruct small group classes and private lessons in our proprietary Refine Method. Founded in 2010 by Brynn Jinnett, a Harvard grad and former NYC Ballet dancer, Refine specializes in small group, high-intensity interval training. Refine has been called “New York’s Smartest Workout” and featured in numerous publications, including The NY Post, Self, Fitness, Elle, Marie Claire, Inc and NY Magazine, which deemed Refine the “Best New Workout of 2011.”

Requirements:

+Charismatic Performer: Able to command a class of 14+ students and build a following. You make people laugh, sweat and feel inspired!

+ Fitness Nerd: Interested in immersing yourself in our method and community and taking advantage of ongoing continuing education opportunities. You love to workout and are always eager to learn more!

+Reliable Professional (dance/fitness teaching experience of any kind a plus, but training provided): Comfortable with verbal cues and hands on corrections and providing thoughtful and compassionate instruction for clients of varying abilities.

Shifts of 3-4 classes are available early am (6-10:30 AM), evenings (5-8:40pm) and weekends (8am-1pm). Must be able to teach at least 2 shifts, with most instructors teaching 9-15 classes per week.

Highly competitive hourly salary DOE, plus unlimited fitness classes. Paid training period includes taking and observing Refine classes, attending lectures and teaching practice classes.
