Contemporary Dance Company is accepting submissions of works for inclusion in our Fall Concerts, Saturday, November 9th, 2019 at 7:30pm and Sunday, November 10th  2019 at 2:30pm. The concerts will be held at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center at 248 West 60th Street, New York, NY. The technical reheasal will be November 7th and dress rehearsal November 8th, both beginnign at 6pm.

We are looking for works that will work well with the theme of our concert, Maninfest. We are open to diverse styles incuding but not limited to Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, or other Cultural Dance Styles.

Accepted choreographer(s) will receive

High quality video and photo of their work. 

Designated Technical Rehearsal slot on November 7, with our Technical Crew

Inclusion in Marketing and Advertising Materials

50% of their ticket sales

Invitation to Post Performance Reception  

Requirements

Complete in full the application and submit video of work. Application forms are available by request. Please email f.logan@vashtidancetheater.com for applications. 

Work must be between 5-7 minutes.

Work submitted must be the same work that will be performed in Concert

Attend and be prepared for Technical Rehearsal November 7

Preference will be given to performances that are availabel for both shows, dress, and technical rehearsal. 

Sell a minimum of 20 tickets

There is a $25 application fee. The deadline for Submission is September 22, 2019.
